In Pursuit of Luxury (IPOL) is an interdisciplinary platform dedicated to critically exploring the concept of luxury. It operates as a consortium engaging both academia and industry to encourage thinking beyond established boundaries. IPOL organises conferences, conducts research, publishes scholarly work (including the Luxury Studies: The In Pursuit of Luxury Journal), and produces a podcast series. We examine a range of topics such as:

• The history, origins, and meaning of luxury
• Luxury’s role in creative industries and business
• The creation and consumption of luxury goods
• Ethical and sustainable practices within the luxury sector
• The intersection of luxury with technology, branding, and societal values

 The goal is to encourage meaningful dialogue and develop new paradigms for understanding luxury in the modern era, targeting academics, professionals, and the wider public with an interest in design, aesthetics, ethics, and regeneration.
